Our Beliefs
Professing Christians everywhere believe that:
- God is Spirit and we are created in God's image. We seek to find ways to nurture the Spirit within us, and to make God's presence real in our everyday lives.
- The Bible is the inspired word of God, given to us for instruction, reflection and meditation.
- The Holy Spirit is a present reality in our lives, and helps us in prayer, enabling us to see ourselves as God sees us, and helping us to follow God's ways.
- God is creator of all. God is at work in this world and seeks to accomplish God's purposes through all who seek God's will.
At Mount Hebron Church we recognize that our individual spiritual well-being ultimately flows from our personal relationship with God, which is nourished as we worship, study scriptures, and pray. These three activities should comprise a major part of our journey of faith.
