Communicant's Class
Our youth in grades 7 or above are prepared to join the membership of the Church by participating in a Communicants’ Class taught by the pastor. Classes are held weekly from Ash Wednesday until the middle of May. Students learn about the Bible, the structure of our church, the duties of members, and how to practice their faith. At the end of the class, the students write a statement of faith. Following the class, the students meet with the Session in preparation for joining the Church around Pentecost Sunday.
