Youth Groups

Middle School Youth Group

The Middle School Youth Group typically meets twice a month – once for a fun activity, and once for a mission-oriented activity. Some examples of their activities include: Snow tubing and ice skating; bible studies; a Fall and Spring retreat; sponsoring and serving dinner to the “seniors” in our congregation; a lock-in at the Church, a scavenger hunt at the Mall, and singing Christmas carols at nursing homes.

High School Youth Group

The High School Youth Group meets on a less regular schedule because of the Senior High’s busy schedules. But they are involved in a variety of activities, such as: constructing and putting on an annual Haunted House at Halloween; leading the Mother’s Day worship service; preparing casseroles for the Our Daily Bread Soup kitchen; an annual ski weekend; promoting an Alternative Gifts project at Christmas; and assisting in some aspect of worship on the first Sunday of the month.
